May Day celebrations of Radicondoli and Belforte have deep and ancient roots that have now merged with the modern 'Workers' Day celebration. The town band starts the day early, playing in the countryside, marching from farmhouse to farmhouse, waking people up and stopping periodically for a snack and a glass of wine offered by the locals. The balance of the day is spent playing for the community gathered on the Radicondoli "poggio" (the park at the highest point of the town), where the townspeople enjoys picnicking on the grass well into the evening.

Music has pride of place: the town band, often accompanied by the "maggiolini" ("Mayday revellers"), starts from the nearby village of Belforte on a tour of the local farms, ending in Radicondoli.  People spontaneously join the singing of the popular songs associated with this festivity. The traditional "May Day" song has a special significance because it was written by an anarchist to the tune of the famous aria from Verdi's "Nabucco".

Le celebrazioni del Primo Maggio di Radicondoli e Belforte hanno radici profonde e antiche che ora si sono fuse con la moderna celebrazione della Giornata dei Lavoratori. La banda del paese inizia la giornata presto, suonando in campagna, marciando di fattoria in fattoria, svegliando la gente e fermandosi periodicamente per uno spuntino e un bicchiere di vino offerto dalla gente del posto. Il resto della giornata è trascorso sul "poggio" di Radicondoli (il parco nel punto più alto del paese), dove i cittadini si divertono a fare picnic sull'erba fino a tarda sera.

La musica ha il posto d'onore: la banda cittadina, spesso accompagnata dai "maggiolini,” parte dal vicino paese di Belforte per un giro tra le fattorie locali, terminando a Radicondoli. Le persone si uniscono spontaneamente al canto delle canzoni popolari associate a questa festa. La tradizionale canzone del "Primo Maggio" ha un significato speciale perché è stata scritta da un anarchico sulle note della famosa aria del "Nabucco" di Verdi.

Commemorating an event that took place in about 1161, every year on 3 May, a procession starts in Belforte and ends at Falsini. It is in memory of Bernardino of Falsini, the parish priest killed by two brigands on the doorstep of Sant'Antonino church. In an effort to prevent the pillage of the church, the priest faced up to the brigands holding a cross in his hands. When he fell the cross marked the main door of the church leaving a mark still worshipped to this day. This event was so strong for the faithful that in 1459, Pope Pius II was moved to write a Papal Bulletin approving the devotion to the cross of martyrdom and granting indulgences to the faithful. Today a walking procession starts in Belforte following a path through rural farms to reach the enclave of Falsini.

A ricordo di un evento che si svolgeva intorno al 1161, il 3 maggio di ogni anno la procession parte a Belforte e termina a Falsini. È in memoria di Bernardino da Falsini, il parroco ucciso da due briganti sulla soglia della chiesa di Sant'Antonino. Nel tentativo di impedire il saccheggio della chiesa, il sacerdote si ribelló ai briganti tenendo in mano una croce. Quando cadde la croce segnò il portone della chiesa lasciando un segno ancora oggi venerato. Questo evento fu così forte per i fedeli che nel 1459 Papa Pio II fu spinto a scrivere un Bollettino Pontificio in cui approvava la devozione alla croce del martirio e concedeva le indulgenze ai fedeli. Oggi da Belforte parte un corteo a piedi che segue un percorso attraverso fattorie rurali per raggiungere l'enclave di Falsini.

Beginning at the start of WWII, on the night of the feast of Saint John, it has been customary to light a huge bonfires on the hill tops. This celebration of the Feast of St John is a revival of the ancient tradition of symbolic nighttime bonfires.

These festivities usually takes place in mid-June, concurrently with the Radicondoli Summer Fair. These sister festivals combine entertainment and craft stalls, full of local products, food and crafts.

A partire dall'inizio della seconda guerra mondiale, durante la notte della festa di San Giovanni, era consuetudine accendere enormi falò sulle cime delle colline. Questa celebrazione della festa di San Giovanni è una rinascita dell'antica tradizione dei simbolici falò notturni.

Questi festeggiamenti si svolgono solitamente a metà giugno, in concomitanza con la Fiera estiva di Radicondoli. Questi festival gemelli combinano intrattenimento e bancarelle di artigianato, piene di prodotti locali, cibo e artigianato.
